About us

Born in Bronte, the land of choice for pistachio, Marullo’s roots lie in a family passion that began in the 1960s.  From a small business dedicated to pistachio processing, Marullo S.p.A. has evolved, investing in cutting-edge technologies for the production of pastes, creams, pestos, granules and flour. 
Today, Marullo S.p.A. boasts an advanced 13,000 m² facility, which stands as the largest production center for nut processing in Southern Italy, along with investments in new and sophisticated production technologies. 
With many years of experience in the industrial sector, Marullo presents its own brand line for large-scale distribution (G.D.O.) and Ho.Re.Ca. (hospitality sector), an exclusive range of products that celebrates a unique and precious ingredient: pistachio. Each product is available in various formats and in private label.

At Marullo S.p.A., food safety is an absolute priority. 
Through our efficient HPLC and microbiological laboratories, we apply rigorous controls to minimize any physical, chemical and microbiological risk at every stage of production. 
Our commitment translates into constant quality monitoring, from the acceptance of raw materials to the release of the finished product, in full compliance with European regulations. 
Our state-of-the-art equipment includes HPLC technology with an Agilent Fluorimeter for the measurement of aflatoxins, ensuring the purity of our nuts. 
Furthermore, the use of an optical sorter ensures the absence of foreign bodies, and further quality checks through X-rays for creams and pestos, and a metal detector for granules, demonstrate our desire to offer customers uncompromising excellence for every type of product.
