Resistant dextrin is a soluble corn fiber, which is indigestible to human’s digestive system. It is a low-calorie ingredient that contains more than 90% of fiber. It is also known as indigestible dextrin or soluble (corn) fiber. Clinical studies show that resistant dextrin improves intestinal environment and supports metabolism. Resistant dextrin increases the number of beneficial intestinal bacteria and helps to maintain healthy bowel movement, postprandial glucose level and triglyceride level.
