Bresc is the European pioneer of Chilled-Fresh ingredients for culinary professionals that has its origins in French Cuisine. While focusing on best raw materials choice, Bresc’s recipes are conceived to inspire product development and to add-up in taste intensive, unique innovations – winning with consumers while being cost-efficient.

The culinary team at Bresc - responsible for raw material sourcing, recipe development, production management and client support - is composed of experienced chefs that are passionate about culinary excellence. To deliver this excellence, focus is on taste, the one element, decisive for success in the food business.
Intense, authentic taste starts with the choice of the best raw materials. Bresc R&D specialists travel the world to find the right partners for our raw material supply. Cultivating specific taste intensive varieties and harvesting only after complete maturation are decision standards at Bresc. We are able to monitor the quality from the seed to the harvested plant as we know our partners personally and have long-term relationships. In specific cases the entire harvest is purchased to ensure identical high quality and equal taste profiles for an entire production batch. Arrived in our factory in the Netherlands, we process the raw materials within 24 hours as freshness is one major taste factor. To preserve the freshness and guarantee the intense flavor, we use chilling as our preferred preservation method. Gained through the chilling process are weeks of shelf-life compared to fresh ingredients that allows a purchase and stock rotation optimization on the industry side.
A lot of culinary know-how, creativity and sensitivity to trends and global influences is necessary to conceive solutions that will finally win with consumers. Bresc’s culinary chefs work with the expectations of a professional audience in mind and support you closely throughout the entire process. Starting with advice in the right ingredient choice up to inspiration for the development of products with a unique, ownable culinary profile - we adapt our assistance according to the individual needs of your development team, integrating your working routine if necessary.
Bresc’s ingredients and finished products are designed for a range of large applications and can be used for hot as well as cold final recipes. Development has been made to allow easy handling and uncomplicated incorporation. Only small quantities are needed as quality and freshness deliver a maximum of taste intensity - a considerable advantage over dried spices – and matching with the industries need for cost-efficient, but high-quality solutions.
