Company description
LUK Botanik is a manufacturer of high-value botanical ingredients for the food, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries.
At our production and R&D facility in TÜBİTAK MAM Technopark, we use supercritical CO₂ extraction and advanced processing technologies to produce concentrated botanical extracts while preserving the plants’ naturally occurring compounds. Production is carried out in controlled cleanroom environments, supported by our in-house laboratory and quality-control systems. Our solvent-free, low-temperature and zero-waste process enables environmentally responsible production while delivering clean, consistent ingredients with full traceability from raw material to final product.
Our portfolio includes plant proteins, botanical extracts, oleoresins, specialty oils, hydroalcoholic extracts and water-soluble powders. Among our key food ingredients are pumpkin seed protein and almond protein—clean-label, plant-based protein sources naturally rich in protein and fibre. Their nutritional profile and versatility make them suitable for sports nutrition, functional foods, bakery products, snacks, granola, smoothies and other plant-based applications.
Our supercritical CO₂ extract portfolio includes rosemary and thyme extracts developed for use in food, nutraceutical and personal care formulations. Through controlled extraction and downstream processing, we can tailor the concentration and composition of selected botanical compounds according to the intended application.
Product quality and consistency are verified through our in-house analytical capabilities, including HPLC, GC-MS and UV-Vis analysis. Depending on the product and application, we evaluate key parameters such as active and marker compound profiles, protein content, physicochemical properties and microbiological quality. Each production stage is closely monitored to ensure reliable specifications and batch-to-batch consistency.
Supported by dedicated R&D and technical expertise, we also develop tailor-made ingredients to meet specific formulation, concentration and application requirements.
