Product description

Maltitol (E965) is a low-calorie sugar substitute that tastes similar to sugar. With a sweetening power of about 90% like sugar, maltitol can be substituted almost 1:1 for sugar.Consumption of maltitol causes only a very slight increase in blood sugar and insulin levels and contains only about half as many calories as sugar.

Maltitol is used, among other things, in the production of candies, cookies, chocolate, desserts of all kinds, ice cream, jams, chewing gum, etc..
