Company description
Nedmag is located in
Veendam, in the northern part of the Netherlands, where we source our magnesium
salts from a unique origin: the former Zechstein Sea. This ancient sea has left
behind rich bischofite deposits that provide a pure and natural source of raw
materials for our products. Our mission is to enrich products and processes
with high purity magnesium salt, contributing to people’s daily lives.
From this mineral source,
we produce several high quality products, including magnesium chloride and
calcium chloride. Our calcium chloride, renowned for its purity, is widely used
as a functional food ingredient and is trusted by leading brands in cheese
production and beer brewing.
Novasal, nature’s
smart salt
Building on this
foundation, Nedmag proudly presents Novasal, our solution for effective sodium
reduction. Made from one of the purest natural sources of magnesium chloride,
Novasal offers a smart way to lower sodium by partially replacing regular table
salt. It not only reduces sodium levels but also adds essential magnesium for a
healthier nutritional profile.
More than a simple salt
alternative, Novasal enhances both taste and nutritional value and can even
