Nutripherol

Nutripherol® is Kensing’s rapeseed-derived mixed tocopherol solution developed as a dual-function ingredient for product protection and vitamin E fortification. It is an all-natural mixed tocopherol system purified through physical separation only, with guaranteed non-GMO origin from rapeseed-00. The ingredient is positioned as a clean-label, non-soy alternative with no concerns related to allergenicity from soy origin.

Its technical advantage comes from its tocopherol profile. Kensing describes Nutripherol® as combining higher alpha and gamma tocopherols, allowing it to deliver both vitamin E claim support and protection from oxidative rancidity in the same formulation. The materials also show that rapeseed mixed tocopherols provide a soy-free claim and feature a homolog profile of approximately 44% alpha, 1% beta, 52% gamma, and 3% delta tocopherols, with the higher gamma content supporting oxidative stability and the alpha content supporting vitamin E fortification.

From an application standpoint, Nutripherol® is suitable for foods and beverages, dietary supplements, and pet food and feed. In accelerated oxidation testing cited in the Kensing materials, Nutripherol® showed protection factors at or above 30% in sunflower oil Rancimat testing, and it also demonstrated strong antioxidant performance in fish oil applications, supporting its use where lipid stability is critical.
