Derived from the plant “Plantago Ovata” the “Psyllium Husk” is a fiber mucilaginous material which has found extensive use in bulk laxatives. Psyllium Husk is produced by mechanical de husking process over the seeds. This husk is further processed to reduce particle size mechanically. The Psyllium seed gum is primarily located in the husk.
