This process is repeated every year. It ensures the validity of the requirements for obtaining the certificate. These requisites include: the composition of the product, the storage, manufacturing, packaging, environmental management, labelling, and communication.

Around twenty cosmetic products have Organic and Natural certifications under the Cosmos standards of the renowned British Soil Association.

MARNYS cosmetic products with Organic and Natural certificationUnder the COSMOS standards, we have the following cosmetics products certified in its two categories: COSMOS NATURAL and COSMOS ORGANIC.

The MARNYS cosmetic products with COSMOS NATURAL certification are Regenerating Rosehip Oil, Jojoba Oil, Hypericum Moisturizing Oil, and the Roll-on Oils Acniroll, Biteroll and Calmiroll.

The products that renew the COSMOS ORGANIC certificate are the following ones: Regenerating Oil of RoseHip BIO, Organic Argan Oil, Organic Aloe Vera Soothing Oil, Organic Tea Tree Essential Oil, Ricinlash, Foot Repair Cream, Shea Butter from the MARNYS Dermpure line, the Anti-aging Antioxidant Facial Cream, and Intensive Moisturizing Body Cream from the Beauty In & Out line.

Consumers prefer organic and respectful cosmeticsThese certifications are essential for consumers who are looking to purchase quality organic and natural cosmetics, placing value on sustainable cosmetics, under an integral concept. One way to achieve this is through cosmetics that use natural ingredients without synthetic components and also through sustainability practices in the production processes of companies.

As Vanesa Paredes, Technical Pharmaceutical director of the Cosmetics Area at MARNYS, explains, “consumers increasingly value sustainable manufacturing processes, respecting the environment, carrying out energy-saving business practices, minimising the environmental footprint and using recycled or recyclable packaging“.

He adds that “cosmetics that comply with this standard guarantee that the product has a measured traceability, from the sourcing of raw materials or ingredients to the manufacture of the product and its arrival at the end customer“.
