About us

Quescrem is an innovative dairy company based in Galicia, Spain, specializing in the production of cream cheese, mascarpone, and other high value-added dairy products distributed in more than 50 countries worldwide. It was the first company in Spain to manufacture mascarpone cheese.Founded 20 years ago as a spin-off from the University of Santiago de Compostela, the company currently generates employment for around one hundred people in the rural areas of Lugo, contributing positively to environmental sustainability and fostering economic development and wealth creation in rural communities.Since 2020, Quescrem has operated a subsidiary in China, reflecting the strategic importance of the Asian market to the company’s sales growth and the significant potential of the Chinese dairy sector.Quescrem is particularly recognized for its manufacturing flexibility and its ability to develop tailored solutions for the industrial, retail, and foodservice channels.
