Alkali-treated Spinosum Chips

Product description

Alkali-treated Eucheuma spinosum chips (ATSC) are a form of processed seaweed, specifically Eucheuma spinosum, that has been treated with alkali to enhance its gelling properties and other characteristics. ATSC is a product of the processing of Eucheuma spinosum algae, resulting in a more elastic and resilient gel compared to Eucheuma cottonii chips (ATCC). The resulting chips are used as a raw material for producing refined or semi-refined carrageenan, which is a versatile gelling agent used in various industries.
