BMT® COENZYME Q10

Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is a lipophilic compound playing an important role in the mitochondrial respiratory chain, where it acts as an electron carrier and as a carrier of proton transfer across membranes. Biostile Microencapsulation Technology®, BMT® , is a patented technological process of microencapsulation at low temperatures. It allows the microencapsulation of active food ingredients to increase product stability, mask odour and taste, and enhance their biological availability. The coacervate microcapsules with active ingredient are resistant to gastric disintegration. Through this we can achieve a type of controlled release and targeted delivery of microencapsulated ingredient as well.
