Company description

Crespel & Deiters is a sixth-generation family business founded in 1858 and headquartered in Ibbenbüren, Germany. The company specializes in the technological refinement of renewable plant-based raw materials into functional starch and protein products for the food industry, as well as high-performance adhesives for the paper processing industry. Core processing technologies include fractionation, extrusion, modification and protein hydrolysis.

At Crespel & Deiters, we support food manufacturers by providing functional ingredients that improve nutritional profiles, quality consistency and appeal, and increase production efficiency. We refine plant-based raw materials into ingredients such as starches, proteins and extrudates that promise structure, texture and stability for modern food applications.

Crespel & Deiters employs around 450 people and operates an international sales and service network supporting customers across global markets.
