Humana 0-VLB is tailored to the needs of very small preterm infants (less than 1,800 g) and can be used as a complement to breast milk or as the sole food. The whey protein is well tolerated and provides a rapid food structure. It is a high protein and energy content of the food support structure and rapid weight gain. It contains easily digestible protein hydrolyzate that accelerates gastric emptying and gastrointestinal transit time. It also contains LCP (Omega 3 and omega-6 fatty acids) promote the development of brain, nerve and vision.
