NordRelease® Maitake Extract Powder & Liquid Extract
Product description
Maitake has a long history of use in East Asia as both a culinary and medicinal mushroom, valued especially for its adaptogenic properties. Modern research has further highlighted its therapeutic potential, linking many of its health effects to naturally occurring polysaccharides. Among these, beta-glucans are particularly well studied, known for their immunomodulatory and anti-inflammatory activity, and are found in notable amounts in the fruiting bodies of Maitake.
To make our potent NordRelease® maitake extract, we only use the fruiting bodies of the mushrooms, no mycelium. Maitake is extracted with NordRelease® technology. With this innovative extraction method, we aim to maximise the bioavailability of the compounds of interest, such as triterpenes, found in maitake.
