Kobe Chemical Co., Ltd. is a Japanese manufacturer of food colours, sweeteners and food additives, founded in 1981 and headquartered in Kobe, Japan. We produce at our Head Office Factory and C&F Factory in Kobe (HACCP-compliant GMP certification for food additives, 2019) and serve customers through our Kobe head office and Tokyo branch.At Fi Europe 2026 we focus on colour solutions for seafood and surimi products such as crab sticks (kanikama) and fish cakes:- KC Orange PP-SS: paprika extract (E 160c), a plant-based red/orange colour for surimi and crab sticks, suitable for clean-label and vegan applications.- CP87: cochineal / carmine (E 120) colour specifically designed for kamaboko and surimi products.Our portfolio also includes a wide range of natural and synthetic colours (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, brown), as well as sweeteners and other food additives.
