Entries for the Vitafoods Europe Innovation Awards 2026 are now open! Game-changing companies have until 27 February to submit their entry across eight categories for the chance to win big.

If so, apply online now for the Vitafoods Europe Innovation Awards, which are open until 27 February 2026.

Free to enter for exhibitors at Vitafoods Europe, which takes place in Barcelona from 5 to 7 May 2026, the awards honour industry players who are driving positive change in the nutraceutical and health and wellness industry.
They will be judged by a panel of industry professionals led by Professor Colin Dennis, chair of the board of trustees at IFIS and the British Nutrition Foundation.
Winners will be announced on 5 May 2026 at a special ceremony held on the first evening of Vitafoods Europe in Barcelona.

The Vitafoods Europe Innovation Awards are open only to exhibiting companies and organisations, apart from the Diversity and Inclusion category, which is open to nominations from non-exhibiting companies, associations, or organisations.
For all categories, preference will be given to ingredients or initiatives launched in the past two years. In addition to gaining important visibility throughout the Vitafoods Europe event, winners can gain access to a Smartcore Brand Awareness Webinar Sponsorship Package valued at €5,000.
This award recognises an organisation or company that has developed the most innovative ingredient that significantly improves products with sports nutrition and active lifestyle applications.
This award recognises an organisation or company that has developed the most innovative ingredient that significantly improves products with immunity and/or gut health applications.
This award recognises an organisation or company that has developed the most innovative ingredient that significantly improves products with cognitive and/or emotional health applications.
This award recognises an organisation or company that has developed the most innovative ingredient that significantly improves products with healthy ageing applications.
This award recognises an organisation or company that has developed the most innovative ingredient that significantly improves products with weight management applications. Such ingredients may work along with or after GLP-1.
This award recognises an organisation or company that has developed the most innovative ingredient that significantly improves products with nutricosmetic, ingestible beauty, or beauty-from-within applications by enhancing skin, hair, and nail health through oral consumption.
This award recognises an organisation or company that has developed the most innovative consumer-ready nutraceutical finished product/food/drink providing scientifically substantiated health benefits.
This award recognises an organisation or company for creating a work environment that offers equal opportunities for all employees, irrespective of gender, race, religious background, sexual orientation, or physical and mental ability. Preferences will be given to practices introduced or significantly improved in the past two years. This award is open to exhibiting and non-exhibiting companies, organisations, or associations.
This award recognises an organisation or company for a measurable supply chain system that demonstrates environmentally, economic, and/or socially sustainable practices in the production of nutraceutical ingredients or finished products. Preference will be given to innovations introduced in the past two years.
