Retail shelves are stocked with an abundance of new beverage products, notes Campden BRI, including recent launches of flavoured waters, energy drinks, low alcohol fruit drinks and no/low alcohol beers, lagers and ciders. This rapid innovation presents major technical challenges, the company believes, around formulation, stability, shelf life and labelling.
