Salvia officinalis, also called common sage or garden sage, is an aromatic herb of the mint family (Lamiaceae), cultivated for its pungent leaves.The name of the sage comes from the Latin word “salvia“, which means “the one who saves”.This is mainly due to the fact that this plant has been traditionnaly used since ancient times.Given its multiple virtues, sage is commonly used to relieve various disorders of the body: fight against fatigue and temporary loss of energy, relieve discomfort related to menstruation or menopause or improve digestive comfort.
Our sage is water-extracted in our own factory and standardized in 20% Polyphenol content.
