Unigrà S.p.A. is an Italian company with an international presence through five production plants (3 in Italy, 1 in Brazil and 1 in Malaysia), 34 foreign subsidiaries and a large network of distributors and importers. It is leader in the
production and sales of vegetable fats and oils, margarines, UHT plant based
toppings, ice-cream bases and pastes, vegetable extracts, chocolate and
compound chocolate, spreadable creams, sugar pastes, powder mixes and improvers for bakery and confectionery industry and artisans. The “vertical”
integration of all the productive and distributive departments allows Unigrà to
take advantage of synergies among the different productions units and to get a
better and deeper knowledge of the products offered.
The industrial unit manages sales of margarine and special products for industrial customers. In order to define tailor-made products, there is a closed relationship with the R&D departments of customers.
