Company description

BIOLAC was founded in 1986 and since then has been using whey to manufacture high-quality lactose and whey proteins for further processing in the food or pharmaceutical industries.

Our headquarter in Harbarnsen - in the middle of Germany between Hannover and Göttingen - offers the ideal location for procuring whey from northern Germany - from northern Hesse, via Schleswig-Holstein and Rügen to the Czech border. In doing so, we not only rely on state-of-the-art technology for further processing, but regionally as well, for quality and an environmentally friendly approach to our goods and our surroundings.

Customers all over the world purchase and process our powder and liquid products. Our customers come from Germany and the neighboring countries, from Mexico, Brazil, but also from India, China, Saudi Arabia or South Africa.

Thanks to our many years of experience and as well as our high standards - which make us the leading whey processor in northern Germany - we are certified according to various quality and food safety standards. We offer high-grade, regional, Lower Saxony quality products that are used i. a. in infant nutrition, ice creams and desserts, yoghurt, confectionery and bakery products or in the pharmaceutical industry.
