VITACEL® Citrus Fiber is a plant-based dietary fiber sustainably produced from citrus peel.

Due to its high content of dietary fiber of > 75%, VITACEL® Citrus Fiber is optimally suited for improving the nutritional value of food products.
As a solution with high consumer acceptance, VITACEL® Citrus Fiber combines nutritional advantages with outstanding functional benefits.Its high water binding capacity and amphiphilic behavior, that supports the stability of emulsions, are key functional features of VITACEL® Citrus Fiber that set it apart from other plant-based fibers. Activation of the fiber by high shear force enhances its ability to absorb water.
Thus, the fiber can improve viscosity, form stability, mouthfeel and other sensory or nutritive features in food and beverages.
