EFSA has launched an open consultation on its draft guidance for the scientific requirements for health claims related to muscle function and physical performance. The document is intended to assist applicants in preparing applications for the authorisation of health claims related to muscle function and physical performance. It focuses on key issues, particularly claimed effects which are considered to be beneficial physiological effects, and characteristics of the human intervention studies which can provide evidence for the scientific substantiation of specific claims addressed in this guidance.
In line with EFSA’s policy on openness and transparency and in order for EFSA to receive comments from the scientific community and stakeholders, EFSA has launched a public consultation on the draft document developed by the NDA Panel of EFSA.Related news
