GenoFocus is a platform technology company developing enzyme solutions for specialty food, eco-friendly process, biopharmaceuticals, cosmeceuticals and agriculture. We develop enzymes through molecular evolution using smart library generation and microbial display-based high throughput screening. With fungal and bacterial secretion systems, we custom-produce the evolved enzymes in large scale fermentation and down-stream process.
GenoFocus' main products are beta-galactosidase (lactase) for Galacto-oligosaccharide production, Superoxide Dismutase from Bacillus, Vitamin K2 (MK-7) and Nattokinase.
- Lactazyme-B: GenoFocus' beta-galactosidase has high GOS conversion rate, you can save your production cost and improve capacity. Also, it's non-GMO and produced by FSSC 22000 certified facility.
- GF Bacillus SOD: We have recently succeeded in developing bacterial SOD (superoxide dismutase) as a dietary supplement ingredient for the first time in the world. Reactive oxygen species (ROS) have been implicated in a rage of pathologies such as cardiovascular disease, cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and other chronic conditions. So, SOD oral administration might represent a meaningful quality-of-life improvement.
- GF MK-7: Vitamin K2 as Menaquinone-7 promotes the
binding of calcium to the bone matrix. Menaquinone-7 also prevents
calcification of artery walls which may lead to heart attacks and strokes. Thus, Menaquinone-7 plays vital roles in
building strong bone and teeth, preventing osteoporosis, and maintaining heart
healthy. Genofocus provides only one biologically
active form, all-trans menaquinone-7 (GF-MK7) by fermentation of Bacillus
subtilis natto strain isolated from Korean fermented-soybean sauce
without organic solvent.
- GF Nattokinase: Nattokinase dissolves blood clots by directly hydrolyzing fbrin and plasmin substrate. GF nattokinase is produced in the cost-effective GMP biomanufacturing facility by using a Bacillus subtilis strain isolated from Korean fermented-soybean sauce.
