In 2000, Bloomage Biotech (former name: Shandong Freda Biotechnology Co., Ltd.) was established and began the production of hyaluronic acid by microbial fermentation. After more than 20 years, Bloomage Biotech has become a world-renowned biotechnology and biomaterial company with a world-leading level of hyaluronic acid industrialization.

In terms of technology, relying on the solid foundation of basic research and application basic research, Bloomage Biotech has mastered leading industrial core technologies such as synthetic biotechnology, microbial fermentation technology, enzymatic degradation technology, and cross-linking technology. The Company has successively led two industrial revolutions of hyaluronic acid production by microbial fermentation and oligomeric hyaluronic acid production by enzyme digestion.
In terms of products, adhering to the corporate mission of "creative technology for vibrant life," Bloomage Biotech mainly focuses on functional sugars, proteins, polypeptides, amino acids, nucleotides, natural active compounds, and other biologically active substances with hyaluronic acid as the core. Hyaluronic acid includes more than 200 specifications of pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and food-grade products, which are widely used in the fields of drugs, medical devices, cosmetics, and functional food.
In terms of quality, the Company's production of pharmaceutical-grade raw materials complies with the requirements of cGMP in the United States, GMP in China, and ICHQ7. It has passed the on-site audit of the FDA in the United States, MFDS in Korea, and GMP in China.
