Campden BRI announces "factory of the future" seminar

By 2050, the world population is expected to be 9 billion people, notes Campden BRI. The combination of richer diets and increased population means that food production will have to be doubled in the next 30 years. Many alternatives have been offered to the food industry.
Campden BRI has convened a seminar, to be held on 22 September, which will investigate what future food factories will look like and how current issues should be addressed to realise this vision.The event will cover various aspects of future food manufacturing, evaluate today’s limitations and assess possible solutions, including potential cost savings by using emerging solutions.
