Company description
Established between the 1960s and 1970s in Bronte as a small family-run business, Pistacchio S.p.A. initially limited itself to processing, shelling and marketing pistachios.
As the years went by, thanks to an increasingly consolidated experience, the company expanded with the construction of a 3,000-square-meter plant and the investment of new, highly sophisticated machinery, starting to produce semi-finished products such as natural, roasted and praline pastes and grains made from pistachios, almonds and hazelnuts.
Today, the company, thanks to its new headquarters in Milan, continues to make a name for itself in Italy and abroad by producing and selecting the best dried fruit, turning it into its products both finished and semi-finished, and then distributing them to the large confectionery industry all over the world.
The semi-finished products, available in pistachio, almond and hazelnut paste, are made through careful manufacturing processes that keep all the organoleptic characteristics of the fruit intact. Their versatility, combined with the possibility of customizing their quantity, turns them into excellent starting points for numerous pastry and ice cream recipes. This is why they are chosen by more and more confectionery industries, both in Italy and abroad
Marullo also offers products for the hotel and restaurant sector, producing creams, pesto sauces, pates, flours and grains made from pistachios, hazelnuts and almonds in 1 kg formats. Made with state-of-the-art methods, after going through a thorough quality control, they are distributed in practical packages and are excellent for preparing desserts, making aperitifs or seasoning first and second courses.
Marullo boasts a wide range of products united by a single, precious ingredient: pistachio, which is increasingly present in the food market thanks to its special properties.In this regard, we have created a close network of collaborations with leading G.D.O. companies, making products that adapt to the needs of each customer. Available in private label, we supply creams, pesto sauces, pates, flours and grains made from pistachios as well as hazelnuts and almonds.
