Plant-based food: developing new ingredients using bio-based extraction.

Solvent-based extraction of vegetable oil is an essential step for many plant-based products, especially for vegetable oil and protein. We are now able to use a 100% bio-based solvent called EcoXtract® as a green alternative to hexane for the development of various ingredients. Our ambition is to develop new ingredients for plant-based food concepts in a sustainable way. We are looking forward to introducing and developing these new ingredients for plant-based foods from protein and fibers, by using this safe and effective solvent-based extraction method.
