Akay offers clove bud. It is prepared from the dried, unopened flower buds of eugenia caryophyllus, oil of clove bud has a strong, spicy, warmly phenolic odour and a pungent flavour. Eugenol is the major constituent of the volatile oil. It is colourless to pale yellow oil is used in food products which require the aroma and flavour of clove.
