Poppy

Product description

Poppy belong to the annual herbaceous plant native to Eastern Mediterranean region. It is very tiny (0.8 mm-1, 5 mm), whitish (in the album variety) and black-purple (in the nigrum variety ). It is sprinkled over cakes and used in the preparation of delicious spices-flavored bread, along with other spices such as cloves, star anise and nutmeg. White poppy seed, blue poppy seed, origin from Turkey is also available.
