• Centinodia

Centinodia (Polygonum aviculare) facilitates urinary tract diuresis, helps eliminate pathogenic bacteria from the urinary tract, reduces bacterial attachment to the walls of the urinary tract and improves the well-being of the urinary tract (EFSA ON HOLD 4462). The EMA monographs also confirm its benefits in the care of the urinary tract.

• Cranberries

Proanthocyanidins (PAC) are flavonoids found in high concentrations in cranberries, which act as an anti-adherent film on epithelia and are particularly useful in the urinary tract. The PACs in MARNYS® Cistomar Forte is measured by the BL-DMAC method, which is the most widely used method for its assessment.

• D-Mannose

D-Mannose is a kind of monosaccharide found in human metabolism and excreted in the urinary tract, where it is effective. D-Mannose shares properties with the American Cranberry.

• Vitamins and minerals

The combination of vitamins C and E have antioxidant effects, while vitamin A contributes to the maintenance of mucosal tissues (i.e. urinary tract). Zinc contributes to normal immune function.

• Rosemary Concentrate

The rosemary concentrate, which contains 30% Ursolic acid, shows interesting complementary actions with both PACs and vitamin C.
