Oldenburger Tilsit is a cheese full of flavour for several usage occasions - together with light bread, on a cheese platter or as garnish on a salad - the light savoury taste gives an aromatic touch to numerous dishes. Also as a topping on a savoury casserole Oldenburger Tilsit is ideally suited. Its ingredients are pasteurised cow´s milk, salt, starter cultures, microbial rennet, stabiliser: calcium chloride (E509), colouring: beta-carotene (E160a). Cheese should be eaten at room temperature to allow its full flavour to unfurl. Therefore it is advisable to remove it from the refrigerator in time.
