It has unique properties of high sweetness and a low calorific value. The sweetness is 200-400 times that of cane sugar, with only 1/300 of the calories. It can be widely used in food, beverages, medicine and cosmetics as well as many other industries and applications and offers significant cost savings over that of cane sugar.
