Coriander Ground/Powder

Coriander is a flowering plant and an annual herb with tender green leaves, globular, and dry schizocarp with 3–5 mm diameter seeds famously known as “cilantro or dhania”. High-quality coriander seeds are obtained by the holler or husker machine after removing the plant’s leave and dust. These seeds are further processed via a grinding machine to get the fine coriander powder below 80 or 100 mesh. Due to its high nutrient values, it has been used for the dual purpose of food and medicinal applications. The need for grounded coriander is mainly for liquid foods/beverages. Coriander ground is used in different varieties of appetizers/soups, digestive juices, and baked/fried fast foods like cutlets, burgers, and pizza. It gets mixed properly and gives good visuals. Regular consumption of coriander powder heightens gastric mucosal’s secretion that protects the stomach acidity and, hence, improves gut health.
