Guar Gum is the ground endosperm of the seed of the Guar plant Cyamopsis tetragonolobus L. Taub (family Leguminosae). Guar Gum mainly consists of hydrocolloidal polysaccharide with a high molecular weight, which consists of galactopyranose- and mannopyranose-units in glycoside linkage which can be chemically described as galactomannan. It is available in conventional and organic quality. The leguminous plants from which Guar Gum is obtained are cultivated in India and Pakistan. Packaging: Paper bags of 25 kgs, big bags of 1 mt. Application: As binding agent, dietary fibre and stabiliser in food, bread, cakes and pastries, pharmacy, paper, textile and drilling industry.
